RUR Report 10

Report 10 you say. Emily, have you forgotten how to count? The answer is no. 10 = 2 in binary and robots like binary. I mean really like it.

In general I think robots, then computer programmers then math geeks like binary, in that order. In other news, references to binary pop up all over the place. Like the in movie/( graphic novel that I haven't read) Wanted that I wanted to see but then after I saw it was sad I wanted to see it. Even Ms. Marvel had the alter ego (ahem another alter ego), the I don't have an emotional connection to my past because Rogue took my superpowers and there is some cosmic energy coming my way, Binary.

(I was going to spend more time dissecting the fact that her name is Binary and she has no emotions just like a robot but more on robots and lack of emotion to come. Let's just save that for another day.)

But seeing as how mutants aren't robots, let's talk about Futurama. Bender Bending Rodríguez is by far one of my favorite robots of all time, along with this ass of a robot. Futurama's big cable comeback with the sliced and diced Bender's Big Score while not my most favorite thing included a great binary reference. The truth is, the show is full of binary references from dreams to tattoos that open portals. Also people really get into this stuff. Who sits around and adds binary. Not me. I just Google for the answer (oh sorry I use the Google search engine).
